Now known as Air Marshal Asghar Khan Academy. It is spread over 720 acres excluding the air strip. The academy comprises of a dining hall and a mess for 600 cadets, cadets housing and the academic wing. The academy consists of following departments: Commandant’s office, O.C. cadets wings, Directorate of studies, Aviation sciences, Aero sciences, Wind tunnel, Academics, Library, Hobbies club, Mosque, Cafeteria, Flying wing HQ, Gymnasium, Squash courts, Convocation hall, Riding club/track.
Started in 1979 it was completed in 1986 and now has cadets coming from different countries and now it has sizable numbers of female cadets too.
