PNEC MESS & BOQ KARACHI
In 1983 an all Pakistan competition was organized by Naval Headquarters to design a dining hall and mess along with the Bachelor Officers quarters on the hillock adjacent to the Pakistan Naval Engineering College to serve the students and officers of PNEC.
From 1983 to its final completion in 1986, it proudly sits on the Hillock.
The design idea and philosophy of this building was inspired by the entrance arch of the Karachi war cemetery for its majesty and scale.
The strong and steady pillars as if emerging from the mountains itself.
