Museum & Department of Archaeology Peshawar (1986-89)
The department of Archeology in Peshawar University was established in 1963 by Prof. Ahmed Hasan Dani. In 1985 A limited competition was held by the department of archeology, university of Peshawar to design the department of archeology and adjoining the university museum of archeology. We won the competition and the project was started in 1986 and completed in 1989. It also has a library, an auditorium and a projection room and offices for the staff. It has 4 major galleries; they are the ethnographic Gallery, Prehistoric Gallery, Early historic Gallery, Gandhara Grave Gallery.
